AN ORDINANCE of the Town of Happyville amending municipal code Chapter 62 to update allowable noise levels in residential and commercial zones.

SECTION 1: Quiet hours are established between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM on weekdays, and 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM on weekends.

SECTION 1: Any tree over 8 inches in diameter may not be removed without prior approval from the Planning Department.

SECTION 2: Replacement trees shall be required at a 1:1 ratio for all removed protected trees.

AN ORDINANCE prohibiting single-use plastic checkout bags at retail establishments in Happyville.

SECTION 1: Businesses shall no longer provide plastic checkout bags to customers beginning November 1, 2025.

SECTION 2: Reusable bags or recyclable paper bags may be provided at a charge of $0.10 per bag.

AN ORDINANCE establishing a nighttime curfew for individuals under 17 years of age.

SECTION 1: Minors may not be in public places between 11:00 PM and 5:00 AM on weekdays, and midnight to 5:00 AM on weekends.

SECTION 2: Exceptions include school, work, or accompanied by a parent/guardian.
