Ordinance 2025-01: Noise Regulation Update

AN ORDINANCE of the Town of Happyville amending municipal code Chapter 62 to update allowable noise levels in residential and commercial zones.

SECTION 1: Quiet hours are established between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM on weekdays, and 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM on weekends.

SECTION 2: Construction activity shall be limited to the hours of 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays, and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays. No construction is permitted on Sundays without special permit.

SECTION 3: Violators may be subject to fines up to $250 per offense.

EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall take effect July 1, 2025.
