Animal Control

The Happyville Animal Control Division works to keep our community safe and healthy by promoting responsible pet ownership, protecting animals, and enforcing local ordinances.

Services We Provide

  • Lost & Found Pets: We help reunite lost pets with their owners. If you’ve found or lost a pet, please report it here.

  • Animal Licensing: All dogs over four months old must be licensed annually. Licenses help us ensure pets are vaccinated and can be returned if lost.

  • Stray Animal Pickup: Report stray or dangerous animals to our 24/7 hotline at (555) 123-PAWS.

  • Animal Welfare Checks: Concerned about a pet’s well-being? Our officers investigate suspected neglect or abuse.

  • Wildlife Assistance: For non-emergency wildlife concerns, such as injured animals or nuisance species, we offer safe and humane solutions.

Rules & Regulations

  • All dogs must be leashed in public spaces.

  • Pet waste must be cleaned up immediately—bags are available at most parks.

  • Unlicensed animals or repeated violations may result in fines or impoundment.
