The Happyville Planning Commission has unanimously approved the site plan for a new state-of-the-art fire station at Elm and 2nd Street. Construction is expected to begin in late summer, with the new station improving emergency response times for the east side of town. The facility will include three bays, modern living quarters, and public education space.
